Well HELLO there.
It's been awhile since the last time we spoke and I think I managed to get my readership down to a resounding zero. (Go me!)
Life has been a crazy roller coaster of ups and downs over the last few months and, well, the blog was sadly neglected. This is what happens when I make promises to the blogoshere! Yes, one day I will post photos from the rest of our amazing Euro adventure, but right now, I'm just trying to get back into the swing of writing on here.
You're probably dying to know what's been going on? (Or maybe I just imagine that's what everyone thinks...)
June: Tim joined a 3-on-3 basketball team for a local tournament and they totally rocked. They ended up in third place (because of some sketch planning on the tournament's part) and Tim came home with a swollen knee, a bloody jersey and road burn on his arms. I think he secretly LOVED it.
July: We did something completely unusual and stayed home for the fourth this year. I believe the last time we really this was...um...never. And ya know what? The celebrations in this area kind of...um...suck. We may travel from now on.
The rest of the month was filled with weddings, concerts, meetings, farmers markets and lots and lots of work for the both of us. I was also cast in a production of short scenes and one acts at a local theatre in town. So, ya know, tack on some rehearsals to everything else. :-)
August: I turned 25! To celebrate I spent the morning getting pampered and the afternoon working. Luckily, my gypsy parents were able to join us for dinner.
And then the world went crazy.
Between work and other commitments, I'm pretty sure Tim and I saw each other for maybe...on a good day...two hours a day. And now we're half-way through September.
Thankfully things have slowed down considerably and the house is steadily getting cleaner and we've actually been eating real dinners this week! I'm going to try to remember to post some photos soon, but I've learned my lesson and I'm not making any promises!
