Step 1: Pour the cake batter in to the pan
Step 2: Take cake out of pan to cool
Step 3: Clean up kitchen to repeat steps 1&2 three times. Then repeat step 3....many times.
Step 4: Call in reinforcements
Step 5: Dye and roll out the fondant (that was made the week before)
Step 6: Snack on the cooled, "practice" cakes
Step 7: Cover the cakes with rolled out fondant
Step 8: Drive to the nearest convenience store, at the latest time possible, and load up on candy to decorate aforementioned, fondant-covered, cakes.
