As soon as we got into the park, we stopped on Main Street and watched the "Celebration!" parade...
featuring Mr. Incredible and Frozone...
And, of course, Mickey and Donald.
We had planned our day so that we arrived right at lunch time, because we had reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table...
After a delicious meal and several visits with some high-profile guests (namely Ariel, Jasmine, Aurora, and Belle), it was time for dessert!
Raspberry Sorbet for me....Chocolate Sundaes for the boys...
Chocolate cake for Katharine...can you tell Brady was having a good time with his sundae?!
We spent a majority of the afternoon touring Fantasyland, but the time came for a trip to Toon Town. And what did the boys find??? Donald's Boat, complete with a water fountain play area!
First, they had to examine the lilypad fountains...
They explored a little too long though....
Of course, by the time they were fully soaked, it was time to attack Aunt Arianna...
After a quick change, it was time for pictures with Mickey and Minnie, and dinner at Pinocchio's. We spent some time wandering the other areas of the park, jammed with the Country Bears, took in a show at the Enchanted Tiki Room (it's under new management) and took a leisurely cruise through the jungle. By this time, it was finally dark and the park rewarded our patience with the famous Electrical Light Parade...
We ended our evening with fireworks by Cinderella's Castle, and afterwards, I fought the crowds with two sleeping children while Katharine got some ride time...you can see my thrill at this idea at her blog.
